As we went to the introduction of the new BMW 5-series last week, we needed some decent transportation. Luckily Jan turned up in a white Golf VI GTD with DSG. Think GTI with less rev’s and better MPG… luckily it was equipped with DSG, so the smaller rev band didn’t matter.

Last week Jan from Rijtesten.nl asked me to join him to the Dutch press-introduction of the new BMW 5-series, the F10. So I did… we had some nice food in Menno Kroon’s place in Cothen and took a 530d for a spin. Time was limited, so I didn’t go all out on the pictures.

Recently I was contacted by Jurjen to shoot some pics of his immaculate Peugeot 306 S16 Le Mans, a special run of the S16 after Peugeot won at Le Mans. We didn’t have that much time, but I think they turned out great.
Since I bought a Canon EOS 7D I’ve been doing a lot of video recently. Last friday it suddenly started to snow, and as this was probably the last time we’re getting some snow this winter, I rushed outside as soon as it started to grab some shots.
Everyting was shot on my 7D with a 17-40L lens, on 720p60. The files were conformed to 25p using Cinema Tools and then edited in Final Cut Pro with Magic Bullet looks.
I was supposed to shoot the new Porsche Panamera turbo for Rijtesten.nl, but as it was sold in the week prior to the test, we were given a 911 turbo with PDK instead. As you can probably understand, that was fine with us, so we had a blast cruising around in it.
