Pix, vids, brainfarts and general mixed ideas
Yes, you read the title correctly, in it’s recent eco-spree Volvo decided to put the 1.6D engine out of the Ford Focus in its flagship. Sure, being able to do 1400km on 1 tank of diesel is great, but I found it to be a bit discomforting that I had to look down at the gear lever to be sure I selected 3rd and not 5th whilst overtaking a semi truck… 
The pics were shot in Eemshaven and needless to say it was frickin’ cold near the sea! 
Had to get up really early on a sunday morning for this shoot, but hauling through the empty streets of Groningen with the five-cylinder warbling away was well worth it. 
Decided to use as little flash as possible this time, as it’s been a bit played out lately.
Last week I traveled to Deventer, to shoot some pics of the eco-Benz at the stunning estate “Het Hunderen“. The owner was kind enough to let us shoot even though the place was rented to a party. I’m really glad with this location, that the editor came up with. The car itself is stunning, I had my taste of CEO-life being driven around in the back.
Shot on the same day as the Nissan GT-R, but fortunately I had a little more time for this one.
Fellow Driving-Fun.com-member Rico was kind enough to borrow me the keys to his immaculate BMW 330d, in order for me to take some pics. Didn’t take that many, as I wanted to experiment with a drifting shot.
