Shot on the same day as the 530d and the GTD, we sure had a blast on some backroads with the GTD and the C30, with the 5-cilinder in the C30 sounding sooo much better than the GTD…

Yes, you read the title correctly, in it’s recent eco-spree Volvo decided to put the 1.6D engine out of the Ford Focus in its flagship. Sure, being able to do 1400km on 1 tank of diesel is great, but I found it to be a bit discomforting that I had to look down at the gear lever to be sure I selected 3rd and not 5th whilst overtaking a semi truck… 
The pics were shot in Eemshaven and needless to say it was frickin’ cold near the sea!
